Welcome to the official website for Sarah Eberle and Sean Sweeney’s wedding. We are getting married on July 17, 2010 at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells, WI. This site will continue to be updated and you will be able to find information on the hotel, travel, things to do, and other interesting topics relating to our wedding.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Glacier Canyon Lodge at the Wilderness Resort. There are two different kinds of rooms available at our discounted rate:

The Wedding and Reception are taking place at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.

If you are flying in, you can fly either to the Madison, WI airport (about 45 minutes drive) or Milwaukee, WI airport (about 2 hour drive).

While it is probably best to drive, as Amtrak only runs one train a day, once you get to the resort you will not need to leave. All wedding events will take place at the resort and there are shuttles for the waterparks, golf, etc.. on premises so it might make sense to try and carpool from the airport.

For those of you coming up to stay for an extended weekend, there are all sorts of things to do in the Dells. There is hiking, kayaking, canoeing and cliff jumping at Devil’s Lake and Mirror Lake State Park. You can check out watersports right on Lake Delton and rent ski boats, waverunners, pontoons, fishing boats, etc.. Check it out at Lake Delton Watersports. There are also boat tours from Wisconsin Dells Boat Tours and the Wisconsin Ducks. Finally there are numerous water-parks and amusement parks such as Mount Olympus and Noah’s Ark, a number of local restaurants, Moosejaw Pizza and Brewing Company, Riverwalk Pub and Restaurant, and Sarento’s Italian Restaurant, and if you just want to gamble, there is the Ho-Chunk Casino.
